Our Story

Building On Success

The Power Of Partnership

In 2020, we united three successful banks under a new charter: Texas Partners Bank. Merging The Bank of San Antonio, The Bank of Austin and Texas Hill Country Bank created a powerful alliance with deep resources and strong local ownership and decision-making. With a name inspired by the partnerships we cultivate with each client, our legacy banks now provide greater accessibility and enhanced service opportunities for Central Texas businesses.

A Texas Journey

The story began in 2007 when a small group of San Antonio’s business and civic leaders established The Bank of San Antonio to bring locally-focused banking services to the business community. The group founded Texas Hill Country Bank in 2009, followed by The Bank of Austin in 2017. Success was steady and strong, with clients demonstrating their confidence in our people, services and abilities by recommending us to friends, business associates and family members. Today, we build on that success with all three banks continuing to serve clients under their original names, enhanced by the power of partnership.
