Jon has over 28 years of commercial banking experience in Austin, where he has forged strong, long-lasting relationships with the community, business owners and centers of influence. His experience has given him a unique perspective on Austin’s need for a commercial banking alternative. Jon leads a team of accomplished bankers with unique expertise to make a difference in the Austin business community.
Prior to becoming our Austin Market President , Jon was Market Executive, Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager for a regional bank’s Central Texas operations.
Jon received his Finance and Marketing degrees from St. Edward’s University in Austin with a distinction of Summa Cum Laude. His community activities include the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for The Better Business Bureau, member of the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association, member of the Texas Association of Business Brokers, volunteer for the March of Dimes and United Way and numerous other church and non-profit activities.
Mark Odom is our Commercial Banking Manager, bringing over 22 years of banking experience to our team, with a focus on commercial and industrial lending.
Mark builds long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with his commercial clients, and tailors banking products to help them achieve their growth and profitability goals. Mark serves on the board as Treasurer of the Westlake Chamber of Commerce. He previously served on the board of Dell Children’s Trust, the Central Texas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Westlake Rotary Club, and was Co-Chair of the Dell Children’s Art of Giving. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Economics, Mark is an active volunteer in the Westlake community and coaches his two boys’ sports teams.

As our Business Banking Manager, Mark works with owners of small businesses and entrepreneurs in Austin and Central Texas to develop customized strategies to help them achieve short- and long-term business goals. He has lived and worked in Austin for almost 30 years and guided business clients through many ups and downs of the local market. His knowledge of local market trends informs his proactive approach to the banking solutions he provides.
Mark’s banking career began in a small town, bringing the personal touch he learned there to his service at The Bank of Austin. Before joining, Mark was District Manager for Comerica. His B.S. in Finance is from Texas State University and he completed post-graduate work at the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Mark has served on the board of Keep Austin Beautiful and was very active in coaching youth sports through the local Optimist Club.

Mike Morgan, is a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, bringing over 15 years of Commercial Banking experience in Austin working with a variety of businesses, industries, and entrepreneurs.
In his role, Mike serves business clients through an array of lending capabilities, treasury management solutions, and technical expertise. He has both a BBA in Finance and an MBA from Texas State University. Mike previously served as Vice Chair for The Boy Scouts Annual Distinguished Citizen Award event, the Austin Young Men’s Business League, and The Young Chamber. He currently serves as the Den Leader and Treasurer for a local Cub Scout Troup.

John is an alumnus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and he remains active in the Austin community through his involvement on the board of the Central Texas Food Bank. Additionally, he has coached youth sports teams for over two decades, demonstrating his commitment to supporting and giving back to the local community.

Tommy is an accomplished banker with over 18 years of experience in the industry. He utilizes his extensive knowledge to offer comprehensive business banking solutions that cater customized for the unique needs of his clients. His expertise in the Austin entrepreneurial market enables him to provide thought partnership on growth, specialized lending capabilities, treasury management solutions, and more in support of his clients' growth.
Tommy attended Southwest Texas State University and is actively involved with the Susan G. Komen of Central and East Texas, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact in all capacities.

Bobbie manages sales for our Treasury Management division, performing needs analysis for clients, maintaining portfolios and serving as liaison with our Commercial and Business Banking groups. Bobbie also works with staff to develop new services and ensure that they are implemented efficiently.
Bobbie has 17 years banking experience, 12 as a Treasury Management Officer, in addition to experience as a Relationship Officer and National Commercial Card Consultant. She focuses her community service on local agricultural programs, supporting Travis County Youth Show, Rodeo Austin and Texas Pork Producers.

Bruce Irick heads our private banking division at The Bank of Austin, where he forms meaningful relationships with his clients to help promote their financial growth. With over 30 years of experience at both large and small banks, Bruce’s extensive knowledge serves as a valuable benefit for Austin’s business owners.
Bruce earned his B.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Before joining our team, Bruce was the Regional Private Banking Manager at one of the top national banks in the U.S. His community activities involve serving on the boards of Ballet Austin and Central Texas Folds of Honor, and previously served as Board Chair for the American Red Cross of Central Texas.
